Great stay in North Norfolk

Bramble Park

Bramble Park is a peaceful adult only site. The owner was welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The site is sloped and without a motor mover on our current van we did have some problems getting level. But managed it. There is a single shower and toilet. There is a cost of £1 for 6 minutes. Cromer is an easy walk down a country lane and took about 30 minutes. The site is very close to The National Trust Property at Felbrigg. A Fantastic location. A hidden gem.

A good CL

Bramble Park

A nice quiet site. Slightly sloping, easy access. Shower and and toilet clean and spacious but £1.00 for six minutes is too much, 50p would be better as at other places. Name and pitch number on arrival board. Nice friendly owners, ideal location for tourist places , national trust etc, can walk in to Cromer in 30 mins, drive to Morrisons Aldi 5 mins, fellbrigg hall 30 min walk, fresh eggs from farm across road, grass kept short, TV reception good, quiet roads for cycling on, would return again.

Campervan 3 Night Stay

Bramble Park

Good response when booking, paid deposit by BACS and balance on arrival by BACS. Both payments acknowledged, deposit by post and balance by e-mail. Chalkboard at entrance to give pitch number, very well organised. Quiet site, good facilities. A small information hut on site. I never expect to necessarily meet the owners on CLs, but we did have a chat with the owner, very friendly. Good access to local sites either walking / cycling, or taking the van out. We didn't use the toilet / shower but I think they're still available. £18 per night, good value. May need your ramps depending which pitch and which way you park! Would recommend.

No Kite Flying

Bramble Park

Bramble Park is a couple of miles west of Cromer. The site is fairly small and surrounded by mature trees. The site does have a considerable slope so levellers required for some pitches. This is an adult only site. It has a shower and toilet, didn’t use them so can’t comment except to say the shower s metered and excepts £1 coins. Hanging up in the info room were a list of do not do including don’t fly your kite! We didn’t even meet the owner or even get acknowledgement of the balance of site fees we paid by BACs. Site fees are £16/night with add ons for awnings etc.. No WiFi available on site although tethering via EE was pretty good as was radio reception. Both Cromer and Felbrigg Hall are an easy walk away. Supermarkets and fuel in Cromer, Sheringham and North Waltham. Plenty of PII’s in the area

FAQs

What do you need for a CL site? ›

Facilities you'll need on your campsite

To become a Certificated Site, we would require you to have a fresh drinking water tap, a sealed chemical disposal tank, a rinsing water tap with a non-return valve, and dry waste disposal.

What is the difference between CL and CS sites? ›

Cs is the Camping and Caravan club equivalent of CL Sites. They allow tents so also have to have toilet and washing facilities but I think they can have more people staying. Some of the Cl sites are part of larger sites and use the Cl registration to fill their larger site as well.

What is a caravan club certified site? ›

A Certificated Site, or CS as we refer to them, are small, privately run campsites that can accommodate up to 5 caravans or motorhomes, and 10 tents. They are for use by members of our Club, although you can join non-members on site and earn commission for doing so.

How long can you stay on a CL site? ›

The maximum time guests are allowed to stay on site varies depending on each campsite and is usually either 21 or 28 consecutive nights, with a 2 night gap before guests can return to the same campsite. However, there are a few campsites where guests may be asked to vacate for longer periods in between stays.

Can non members use CL sites? ›

Whilst visitors to your CL must be current Club members, non-members do occasionally ask to stay. They must join the Club before staying on site by calling the Club on 01342 318 813.

Do CL sites have toilets? ›

All pitches have electric hook-up (16 amp) with access to a new toilet block with shower, toilet and wash basin. Adults and children are welcome as are well behaved dogs.

What facilities do CL sites have? ›

All, however, offer access to drinking water, a chemical waste emptying point and refuse disposal. Be aware that the ground on some CL sites can be quite undulating (look out for notes within individual entries in the Sites Directory), so make sure you pack levelling equipment such as ramps and chocks.

What is CL campsite? ›

A CL site is a Motorhome and Caravan Club (previously known as The Caravan Club) 'Certified Location' (CL) campsite. What this means is that the campsite is privately ran site by a Farm/Landowner, however, as it meets certain standards of the Club it's 'recognised' and therefore able to advertise as such.

Who owns Caravan and Motorhome Club? ›

Yes, the members. No shareholders, no dividends, no person or persons owning a financial stake in the club - just us, although it's sometimes hard to believe. If the club becomes insolvent, the members are liable to the sum of £1 each.
