We always need good, used (or new) clothing for men, women and children; especially warm clothing for winter, including waterproof mittens and winter boots. (There is also a need for household items, such as dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, sheets and towels for new families moving into the area.)

Our donation bins remain open, we ask that you do not leave items outside the bins as they will end up in landfill due to the affects of inclement weather.Support diabetes research and help divert from landfill by donating:

What we’ll come pick up

For household pick up, all items must be packed in sealed bags or boxes, weighing less than 40 lbs., and placed on the doorstep to ensure a safe, contactless, pick up for our donors and staff.

Loose items will not be collected.

Unfortunately we are not able to accept clothing or household donations directly at the shelter, so you are invited to drop off any used clothing or household items at Value Village: 1651 Merivale Rd, Nepean, ON K2G 3K2. CHECK if Value Village is open.

Theyprovide much needed items to our residents for free during their stay with us. This is a valuable resource for our residents and we appreciate your support.

Visit 35 Waller Street to drop off donations on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. If you’re unable to make a donation then, please send an email to[emailprotected]and we’ll arrange for another time to receive your gift. Short-term parking is available on the south side of The Mission (our south-side door address is 53 Daly St).
