Why making a meaningless sequel? Rated 1/5 Stars • Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/09/23 Full Review G T Unimpressive acting, too many cliches(maverick marine and gung ho sexy blonde eg) and old style story of soldiers surrounded and attacked by fanatics. Only saving grace being the plot is believable though boring, plus there's lots of bullets and explosions. Rated 2.5/5 Stars • Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/24/23 Full Review Alexander C Over acted and dam, how did they not run out of ammo? Story with huge promise, ruined with bad directing and a poor story arc. If you are bored and need a film for the background this may do, but anything else... i would say avoide. Rated 1.5/5 Stars • Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/27/23 Full Review dave j Marine Evan Albright is the new recruitment to US embassy where he is introduced to Gunnery sergeant major Scott Adkins Rated 3/5 Stars • Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Mindless crap. These guys have bottomless mags. Kind of like going to a cafe and paying for a bottomless coffee. All you can drink. The number of rounds these guys fired would mean they'd need to be supported by a truck carrying mags. standard mag is 30 rounds. Lets do a double tap shall we. Oh. That's 15 shots. Now. How many mags could you carry in a assault vest you reckon? John Wayne would be proud. Hell boy, them Kamanchehs l didn't stand a chance. Crap story, crap acting, crap! Rated 0.5/5 Stars • Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A truly awful part of the franchise and a complete piss poor reflection of the Marine Corps. Not one Marine changed his mag once, weapons were constantly on rapid fire, the only person to change mags once was the "spook" played by Sasha Jackson (who clearly paid attention in boot camp, either that or she has been using firearms for a long time because her discipline and situation awareness was on point compared to the rest of her co-stars. Waste of time and money. If you wanna make a war film that actually goes with the franchise maybe follow examples from the previous two films and hire a military advisor who wasn't in the military for maybe two seconds, someone with actual experience might help! I was reluctant to buy this after owning the first "Jarhead" which I was highly disappointed in basically 2 hrs of b.s. The phrase “jarheads” is also a slang phrase used by sailors when referring to Marines.
