I tried this from Hershey’s website and loved it! It's damn easy and can be made under 5 minutes in microwave oven.
Smells and tastes great and perfect to start a day for a chocolate lover. Best way to finish away the last few spoons of coco powder.
Also a treat yourself when you are craving for something chocolatey, to cheer up your bad mood. Only 3 ingredients!
Why I love this?
This is comparatively easier than stove top hot cocoa and gets done so quickly. Also there is no problem of splitting in stove top method if not done properly.
Also when the timing is right, the top is perfectly covered with froth just the way one would like. Total cafe style.

Microwave hot chocolate recipe

Cup measurements
Ingredients
- ½ tablespoon Coco powder I used Hershey's
- ½ tablespoon Sugar - 2 tsp adjust as per your taste
- 1 cup Milk I used low fat
Instructions
Place coco and sugar in a microwave-able cup.
Add 3 tblsp of milk and blend well.
Top with milk and microwave in high for 1 and ½ minutes or until the milk starts to boil. You see that top?
Notes
- You can stir in between to ensure even mixing.
- You can reduce coco powder upto 1 tsp.
- ½ tablespoon is 1 & ½ tsp

Microwave hot chocolate method

- Top with milk and microwave in high for 1 and ½ minutes or until the milk starts to boil. You see that top?
Note
- You can stir in between to ensure even mixing.
- You can reduce coco powder upto 1 tsp.
Mix well and enjoy your hot chocolate HOT!

I usually make my hot cocoa on the stovetop, but this would definitely be quicker. I like to add cinnamon and vanilla to mine. Love the photos.
